CAIRO – 11 November 2017: Mohamed Salah has been the protagonist in Liverpool, with an amazing performance in just three months that made some English media compares the Egyptian striker with Luis Suárez, who left the Anfield of Liverpool to the Camp Nou of FC Barcelona.

Twelve goals in 17 official matches guarantee the quality of Salah, who lives his second experience in the Premier League, after a frustrating first adventure with Chelsea.
In 2013/2014 season, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was captivated by a young Basel striker, Salah, who beat the Londoners in the two group stage matches of the Champions League.

The Russian businessman, amazed with the speed, power and mind of Salah, and then he paid Basel at the end of that year $15 million and took him to Stamford Bridge.

With Chelsea, the Egyptian did not show his qualities, that 19 games and two goals later, with an inconsequential contribution, was signed by Fiorentina in the operation that led the Colombian Juan Cuadrado join Chelsea in a swap.

A new assignment, this time to Rome, meant the rebirth of Salah. The Egyptian forward signed a good season in Serie A, Roma exercised the option to buy the winger and then last summer he transferred to Liverpool for $43 million.

A transfer that at the time was considered scandalous but now no one in Anfield dares to question given the incidence of the player in the team directed by Jurgen Klopp.

Salah, at 25, is at his peak. The English media that compare him with Luis Suárez use the numbers, and the statistics say that in his first 17 games at Liverpool he has scored twelve goals and has given three assists.

Records showed that Salah scored more goals after 17 games than Suarez and Fernando Torres had at the same stage of their Liverpool careers, despite not playing as an out-and-out striker unlike those two.

Suarez`s record in his first 17 games in 2011 with Liverpool was seven goals and five assists, while Fernando Torres in 2007 scored 11 goals and provided a single assist.
